The Journal commented that, "This research may result in a paradigm shift in the treatment of asthma. This research demonstrates the importance that duration of therapy has on clinical and physiologic responses."

Column 56: Finale

I'm sorry for bringing it up so suddenly, but it was a decision long in the making. With mounting responsibilities at work and in my personal life, I felt the need to turn my attention to them instead. My hopes are to get some kind of further certification to improve the knowledge that I bring to our team. As I love being on staff here, I came up with a compromise: I will give up my Q&A host position to take on the role of a reviewer. Hopefully, I will be able to keep up with everything now!

Like everyone else in the RPG-loving world, I have been almost fully absorbed by the marvel that is Lost Odyssey. At five hours a night since I got it, I have reached to the fourth disk where I have been running through all the side quests I could find. The game is a blast and I do believe I will need to write a review on it.

Baby found in field after tornado OK; recovery begins across state

The body of the boy's mother was found in the same field, houses were wiped to concrete slabs, and a brick post office was blown to bits. But, except for a few scrapes, Kyson was fine.

At a makeshift shelter for storm victims at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ in nearby Gallatin, the Rev. Doyle Farris said the child was a reminder that people "should never give up, even in the midst of the worst storm."

"If you look, you can find an inspiration or a bright spot," he said. "The child will always be a reminder in this community of that message."

Kyson's story emerged as a tale of hope amid spectacular misery as residents in Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas tried to piece their lives back together after the nation's deadliest twister rampage in two decades killed 59 people.

Urban Ecology: Taking Measure Of The Coming Megacity's Impact

Ecologist Nancy Grimm of Arizona State University and her colleagues are addressing these questions. "When we think of global change, images of melting ice caps and pasture replacing tropic rainforest come to mind," Grimm says. "What drives these changes" In fact, much of the current environmental impact originates in cities, and with demographic transition to city life the urban footprint is likely to continue to grow."

Urban challenges face communities worldwide, with solutions lagging behind. Grimm and her colleagues promote a global perspective of urban development. Their analyses capture some of the commonalities that will face future city planners and societies, viewing cities as both drivers of and responders to environmental change. The authors chart the socio-ecological challenges and changes ahead for all cities, but particularly those in rapidly developing regions, like China and India.

Bradley County Churches Get Extra Protection Due To Thefts

Sheriff Tim Gobble has placed rural Bradley County churches on "extra patrol" after recent thefts of outside heating/air conditioning units in the area.

The order means patrol deputies will make regular checks of those located in the patrol zone they are covering.

In recent weeks there have been thefts from at least six churches in Bradley and surrounding counties. Inside the units the thieves are able to extract copper tubing they can sell as scrap metal. Each theft brings a loss of at least $1,000, and in some cases the value of the unit is in the thousands of dollars.

Sheriff Gobble is asking the public to be on the lookout for suspicious activity and to not hesitate to call 9-1-1 if you see something out of the ordinary, especially on days and at times when services are not held.
